Located on 89th Street and just two doors up from the Ocean! Southwinds B guests benefit from a beach that is less crowded than many other parts of Ocean City. Walk just a half-block down to the sand for a day of sun and salt air, or grab a bite to eat at any number of restaurants that can be found within walking distance such as Lombardi's, Hooked, The Hobbit, Layton's, Ropewalk, Liquid Assets, Kirby's Pub, Blue Fish, and Bull on the Beach. When you're ready for some exciting Ocean City fun, OC's Famous Boardwalk, amusement rides, and downtown area are just a short drive or bus ride away. Nearby Assateague Island is also great for a day trip, where you can see the island's resident wild ponies and native wildlife, as well as beaches, picnic areas, hiking trails, and more. Umbrella & Chair Rental stand is located near beach access point for daily & weekly rentals.
Ride Ocean City’s municipal buses that travel along Coastal Highway. A $4 Ride-All-Day pass allows you to ride from 6:00 a.m. until 3:00 a.m. the next morning. With your pass, you can transfer to one of the Park & Ride buses at no additional cost and go to our beautiful West Ocean City Park & Ride facility. OC Beach Bus schedule.
